BIO
Born and raised in South Lake Tahoe, Alexis brings her legal experience back to the community. She has successfully represented public entities in multi-million dollar litigation actions, devised risk management strategies on behalf of public entity clients, and mediated prisoner civil rights claims in federal court. She understands the complex nature of regulations and projects in California and published an article in the respected Lewis & Clark Law Review on land use regulations in California. Alexis prides herself on forward-thinking approaches to solving problems and proactively resolving disputes. Alexis’s practice focuses on regulatory compliance, estate planning, business law, and land use.

  • B.A. History with Honors, Occidental College, Magna Cum Laude

  • J.D., McGeorge School of Law, Graduated with Great Distinction; Order of the Coif; and Outstanding Academic Achievement.

BIO

Tara is a native of Chico, California and longtime resident of the Sacramento region before making South Lake Tahoe her home. Tara’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, trust administration, and real estate. She has worked on a wide variety of public and private matters in landlord tenant actions, eminent domain actions, easement and boundary disputes, commercial and residential property development, sales and leases, and has advised Homeowner Associations on the development and enforcement of CC&Rs.
